2. You have tax residence status
You have been in New Zealand as a resident for a total of 41 days or more in each of the two 12-month portions of the 24 months immediately preceding your permanent resident visa application, and you are assessed by Inland Revenue (IR) as holding tax residence status for the two years preceding your application for a permanent resident visa. You must include evidence of your tax residence status with your application. Acceptable evidence includes:
a statement from IR for the period for which you have been assessed as having tax residence status, or
the INZ form Confirmation of Tax Resident Status (INZ 1006) completed and endorsed by IR.
4楼Jack Liu作者L9(07 Oct 2013, Intranet)背景调查是肯定有的,但注意NZ并不是一个亲美国家.移民法中不会出现属于xx党或隶属某某系统就拒绝移民这样的条款,NZ移民局只是进行一般性例行调查(是否属于恐怖组织,是否曾参与践踏人权活动,是否参与间谍活动),如未发现存在参与不良行为或事件,并不会对移民结果产生影响.

Brian07 Oct 2013 Taiwan我今年已經30了，在台灣服兵役，打算過去讀master of professional accounting，沒有相關工作經驗、學歷背景。我知道前途茫茫，但還是決定衝了。想請問博主，如果我想盡快累積相關工作經驗，在學程中沒有intern的要求，所以好像無法歸類到Students and Trainee Category；我自己去找intern的機會，會不會在第一關就因為沒有工作簽證被刷掉；我想到另一個方法是找volunteer的工作，那volunteer的工作是否不需要任何工作簽證的資格。

我已交EOI，且刚被从Pool里捞起。本以为一切顺利，可前两天收到移民局邮件，说政策有变，其中一条我想是和我有关的：
All qualifications awarded after 2013 should be referred to NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment.
My wife obtained Master‘s Degree of Environmental Planning from University of Tasmania, Australia on 11-Aug-2012. She studied there for 1.5 years.
My questions are:
### Her Master Degree is not apparently in the List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment. I will claim the points using her Bachelor's Degree (in the list). But these points can only be claimed by meeting the minimum standard of English. I am wondering whether her Master studies in Australia can be the proof of meeting the English requirement (in other words, whether I can select “Study for a recognized qualification conducted entirely in English” in Section K1 but claim the points with her Bachelor Degree in M2?).
### If I cannot select "Study for a recognized qualification conducted entirely in English" as the proof of English ability, I am wondering whether her IELTS test (taken on 20 Nov 2010) with an overall band score 7.0 can be the proof to claim points? How long is the validity period of the IELTS test report?
### If her IELTS test report is regarded as expired, I will refer to NZQA to assess her Master's Degree. If her Master's Degree is recognized, then whether I can claim the points in M2 and also prove her English ability in K1, selecting "Study for a recognized qualification conducted entirely in English"?
### If I request NZQA's assessment, whether Pre-assessment Result is enough to claim the points or I need the International Qualifications Assessment? pls advise.

我目前从事IT行业（6年以上），属于新西兰紧缺职业，但我学位是工程类的学位（也是紧缺类的工作行业需要的工程类学位），请问打分时，能同时拿到6年绝对紧缺行业工作经验的15分和拥有绝对紧缺行业的学历的10分吗？
